MEDITERRANEAN WILD SHRUBS

In order to make cultivable the steep slopes surrounding Mattinata, our ancestors used to build series of majestic stonewalls. Metre after metre, throughout the years, they have claimed their right to farm over the Mediterranean wild shrubs.

Today, stonewalls are one of our community’s landmarks. They always remind us of that sacrifices and commitment towards the idea of creating something that will last forever.

We like to honour that struggle with this unique blend, made of wild olive leaves (‘Olea Oleaster’ - bonsai olive leaves - richer in antioxidants), rosemary needles and juniper berries, all gently smoked over pine wood.
